Christopher R. Ludeman has been appointed president of the 1,800-member brokerage services division of Los Angeles-based CB Richard Ellis, a real estate services firm. Ludeman assumed his new duties in May, when he succeeded Brett White, who was named chairman of the company’s North American operations.

Ludeman, 41, will also retain his position as head of the company’s Southern California division, which includes Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties. Ludeman is a 19-year veteran of the firm and returned to Southern California earlier this year after overseeing the company’s Northeastern operations from offices in Washington.

Ludeman said that one of his chief goals is to make sure the firm’s brokerage clients take advantage of its other services, including property management and financing.

“One of my key responsibilities is to educate our [brokers] on the vast array of services that they can deploy to serve these clients,” Ludeman said.
