Image Entertainment Tells 45% Increase in Revenues

Image Entertainment Inc., Chatsworth, reported financial results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year that ended March 31.

Net income for the quarter was $1.1 million, compared to a loss of $10.3 million for the like period in 1998. Revenues were $23 million, up 45% from the $15.9 million in the fourth quarter of 1998.

For the year, net income was $1.7 million compared to a net loss of $9.6 million in 1998. Revenues were $76.7 million compared to $75.5 million in 1998.
