LAGUNA BEACH
The City Council recently authorized the Police and Fire departments to implement the Laguna Amateur Radio Emergency Service program. The program is a volunteer radio communication service available to federal, state and local governments. The amateur radio operators will provide service as needed by city Fire and Police departments. Demonstrations of the program will be held June 26 and 27 on the fire road between Moulton Meadows Park and Top of the World. Information: (949) 494-8783.
