LAGUNA WOODS
The City Council, acting as the Planning Commission, on Wednesday approved permits and a zone change for the proposed 253,000-square-foot Town Centre project. The seven-building development, which includes office and retail space, a 140-room hotel and restaurant, received the green light for the development itself as well as a zone change to increase the maximum building square footage from 106,500. The site is on the north side of El Toro Road, west of Moulton Parkway at Home Depot Drive.
