Current Accounts: The Irvine-based Coco’s and Carrows restaurant chains have awarded their Latino advertising accounts to Dallas-based Dieste & Partners. The chains, which are owned by Spartanburg, S.C.-based Advantica Restaurant Group, previously had worked with other ad agencies on a project-by-project basis. Dieste will spend the remainder of 1999 conducting market research, with the first advertisements slated to appear in 2000. The restaurants did not release a dollar figure in connection with the contract.
