Suze Orman

Josh Getlin’s June 22 article, “God, Money: New Twist on an Old Theme,” has inspired me to compose the following prayer for the devotees of St. Suze Orman, with apologies to Christians and other people of faith who still find it impossible to “serve God and mammon” (Matthew 6:24):

Our market which art on Wall Street, hallowed be thy name. Thy profits come, thy will be done, on Main Street as it is on Wall Street. Give us this day our daily profit taking and forgive us our debts, even though we have not always forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into speculation, but deliver us from crashes. For thine is the corporation and the leverage and the riches forever. Amen.
