Research Engineers Completes Purchase

Research Engineers Inc., a Yorba Linda engineering software company, said Monday it has completed its previously announced acquisition of R-Cube Technologies Inc., a Silicon Valley software consulting firm, for $2.32 million cash.

Privately owned R-Cube, which specializes in software development using Internet protocols, will be folded into Research Engineers’ India-based Techna Consulting Services and will focus on the engineering industry, the company said.

R-Cube has annual revenue of $4.8 million, the company said.

Research Engineers stock fell 13 cents Monday to close at $6.25.
