What Did You Eat Last Night?
Jack Bezjian, proprietor of Bezjian’s Market and Bezjian’s Bakery, Hollywood.
“Would you believe I don’t know? Let me think. I had some cheese, on my own bread, of course, with lettuce and tomato. And that was it. Usually when I’m working in the bakery, that’s all I have time for.
“When I can go home for dinner, I have whatever my wife’s made. She does a lot of Chinese saute stuff, vegetables and stuff. Believe it or not, she doesn’t do that much Armenian food. That’s for family dinners, and we make it in advance, or we go out to Armenian restaurants, like Carousel in Hollywood.”
