Meyers Group Acquires Utah’s Decision Systems
Moving to expand nationwide, The Meyers Group, a real estate research firm based in Irvine, said it bought Decision Systems of Utah for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition, Meyers’ second in less than a month, allows the company to sell information on the Utah market to home builders, land developers, real estate investors, financial institutions, investment banking firms and others in the industry.
Last month, The Meyers Group purchased U.S. Housing Markets, a monthly newsletter that provides local reports on major- and mid-sized markets nationwide.
Jeff Meyers, president and chief executive officer, said establishing a presence in Utah is a key step in becoming a nationwide provider of home real estate information. The company has 19 offices and plans to add 15 this year.
