Boxer Names New Regional Director
U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) has appointed a new director to oversee activities for the Southern California region.
Matthew Kagan, who served on Boxer’s 1992 election campaign and went on to work in her Washington, D.C., office, will work from Boxer’s headquarters in Los Angeles.
He will serve as contact for constituents in counties including Ventura, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.
Kagan of Los Angeles most recently served Boxer as a senior policy advisor on issues including crime, national security and immigration.
Before working for Boxer, Kagan was involved in several other Democratic campaigns, including those of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and former Lt. Gov. Leo McCarthy.
