Three outstanding teachers from Fairmont High School recently received distinguished honors from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and UC San Diego. Steven Sherman, a math teacher, received his honor from MIT. Keith Furrows, who teaches history, and Fiona Fraser, who teaches English, were recognized by UCSD’s Teacher Recognition Programs.
