IRVINE

More than 60 middle and high schools will send their top students to test their intellect at the annual MathCounts state competition at UC Irvine on Saturday. The competition features a series of brain-testing contests that get more difficult with each additional round. The top four students will form a team that will compete in the national competition in Washington on May 14.
