Dense-Pac Settles Dispute With Staktek

Dense-Pac Microsystems Inc. said Wednesday it has settled its legal dispute with Staktek Corp. of Austin, Texas. Dense-Pac, based in Garden Grove, had filed suit in July alleging that Staktek infringed on Dense-Pac’s patent for technology related to stacking memory devices.

Litigation involving the companies was dismissed without any admissions by Dense-Pac or Staktek. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

Dense-Pac shares rose 19 cents Wednesday to $1.75.
