Blaze Causes Damage to Mini-Mall
VAN NUYS —
An early morning fire Saturday damaged a mini-mall near Van Nuys Airport, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman said.
The blaze, reported at 1:04 a.m., caused about $600,000 in damage to the building and other property at 15705 Strathern St., said spokesman Bob Collis. Three businesses were damaged.
The flames were extinguished in less than half an hour by 25 firefighters. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
