ANAHEIM
An interactive fountain with jumping streams of water will be dedicated today at noon to well-known city arts patron Julie Mayer, who died of cancer at age 52 in September. She was a longtime Anaheim resident whom many regard as a monumental force behind the city’s public art programs and was a fixture on the Anaheim Arts Council, said Laura Muna-Landa, project manager with the city’s redevelopment agency. The dedication will take place downtown, between Southeast Center Street Promenade and Lemon Street. Information: (714) 765-4300, Ext. 4835.
