Franklin Telecom on American Stock Exchange

Franklin Telecom in Westlake Village has accepted an invitation to join the American Stock Exchange and now trades on AMEX under the symbol FCM.

Franklin Telecom has been designing and manufacturing communications hardware and software for 19 years. The core of the current product line is the Tempest System, which includes a data voice gateway and several voice over the Internet systems.

FNet Corp., Franklin’s Internet subsidiary, is deploying a global telephone company.

“March has already been an extremely significant month for us,” said Franklin Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Frank Peters. “We’ve introduced several new products, [and] with the across-the-board growth that Franklin is experiencing, it’s clearly time for the company to move to a national exchange.”
