Furious Over $15 Fee

As a frequent visitor to Ensenada, I was infuriated to see the article by Greg Brosnan (“Mexico to Impose $15 Fee on Tourists,” News, Tips & Bargains, March 7).

It is obvious our tourism has already been of great benefit to Baja California. A $15 charge to cross the border is an outrage, especially considering what our costs are here for people crossing into this country illegally.

I think the Mexican government has gone too far this time. I thank you for your wonderful travel section and keeping us posted on these things.
