LAKE FOREST
Lt. Mike James begins his new job today as the city’s chief of police services. He replaces Lt. Ron NeSmith, who retired last week after almost seven years on the job. James, a resident of Portola Hills, has been with the Sheriff’s Department for almost 14 years.
