Accesspoint Corp., an Anaheim-based Internet service provider, has acquired a Nevada shell company in order to trade its stock on the public markets, the company said Monday.

Accesspoint, which provides electronic commerce products and services to small- and medium-sized businesses, now trades over the counter under the symbol ASAP.

Accesspoint acquired Yamahama’s Inc., a theme restaurant that failed. The assets and employees of Yamahama have all been disposed of, and only the public status of the company has been retained.
