The City Council plans to tour the heart of Little Saigon today as it considers developing a Bolsa Corridor Strategic Improvement Plan. The council will first meet at City Hall, 8200 Westminster Blvd., at 5 p.m. for a presentation on the Bolsa Corridor by city officials. Council members will then tour the corridor by bus so they can study firsthand issues such as traffic and parking. Other “shareholders” in the corridor, such as business owners, residents and other government officials, have been invited to attend, and the public is welcome. The council also plans to meet with district state Sen. Joe Dunn in open session at 2:30 p.m. today in the council chambers conference room for a general discussion on city business.
