The Senior Center will celebrate its 20th anniversary next week with a full schedule of events, including announcement of the Senior of the Year on Wednesday. Mayor Frank G. Fry will also announce the center’s Director’s Award and special volunteer recognition recipients. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the center, 8200 Westminster Blvd. Other events throughout the week include classes, crafts and entertainment, with festivities ending in an open house from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 15.
