Fluidmaster Inc., perhaps the only business in the world that celebrates the birthday of the 18th century British plumbing magnate Sir Thomas Crapper, has moved its worldwide headquarters from Anaheim to San Juan Capistrano.

The new 184,000-square-foot facility includes 54,000 square feet of office space surrounding a 130,000-square-foot manufacturing plant and test lab.

Fluidmaster, founded in Anaheim in 1957, is the world’s largest producer of toilet repair products.

The company has more than 500 full- and part-time employees. Founder Adolf Schoepe continues to play a major role in new product development. Schoepe also is co-founder of Kwikset Locks.
