Kevin McDevitt primarily covers international mutual funds for Morningstar Mutual Funds. He also specializes in real estate and index funds and the Vanguard, Templeton and Putnam fund families.

McDevitt joined Morningstar in 1995 as a data analyst. He holds a bachelor’s from the College of William and Mary and is a chartered financial analyst.

Don Phillips

Don Phillips is chief executive of fund tracker Morningstar. He joined the company in 1986 as its first analyst.

In 1997 he was named “Fund Leader of the Year” by Fund Action. He also has been named one of the most influential people in the mutual fund industry by Smart Money magazine and one of the 50 most influential market movers by Worth magazine.

Tricia Roths-child is a senior analyst at Morningstar.

Rothschild has written articles for various Morningstar publications on topics ranging from the effect of asset growth on fund performance to tips on selecting international funds.

She holds a bachelor’s from Northwestern University and a master’s in Russian and East European economics from Indiana University.
