Pudding Up With Another Kids’ Fad

Uh-oh! It looks like Teletubbyland is no longer some isolated, infantile, make-believe television play land, but an actual place: Burger King.

Just last week the fast-food franchise began offering, as part of its Kids Club meals, Tubby Custard, a pale and gelatinous pudding made by Jell-O. With a smirking Po, Dipsy, Laa-Laa or Tinky Winky waving at you from the lid, appetizing is not the first word that comes to mind when staring at a cup of Tubby Custard--nor is tasty, upon sampling it.

Color? pink.

Flavor? Uh, pink.

The offer is good while supplies last, but the idea . . .
