SAN CLEMENTE
The City Council recently approved about $75,000 in additional expenses for the municipal pier deck expansion project. Since approving the project in November, city officials cited a need for the thickness of the deck to be increased from 2 to 3 inches, 428 feet of additional timber bracing and thicker metal connectors.
