Natasha Trenev, president and founder of Natren Inc. in Westlake Village, has been published in a Chinese-language magazine.

“The Healing World of Lapis Lazuli Light” has a circulation of 100,000 and is published in Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, the United States, China, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Argentina.

Trenev’s article, “Probiotics: First Line of Defense Against a Food Supply Gone Haywire,” was written to address the role of beneficial bacteria in protecting the body against pathogenic bacteria such as E. coli and salmonella.

The article was translated by Dr. Chiu-Nan Lai for inclusion in the spring issue of the magazine.
