Comarco Profits Rise 14%; Revenue Dips

Santa Ana-based Comarco Inc., a provider of wireless communications products, said net income in the first quarter rose 14% to $959,000, or 20 cents a share, from $840,000, or 17 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue dipped slightly to $21.2 million from $21.8 million. The revenue a year ago included $2 million from a contract that was not renewed because it had become virtually profitless, the company said.
