The Planning Commission recently approved 138 parking spaces for the St. Columban Church, at 12671 Nelson St. In other votes, the commission also allowed a 5,400-square-foot restaurant, at 9693 Garden Grove Blvd., to reopen with an alcoholic beverage control license; approved an alcoholic beverage control license for the Hyatt Alicante Hotel complex, at 100 and 300 Plaza Alicante; and granted Acacia Adult Day Services permission to double in size to 8,623 square feet.
