Families are needed to host foreign exchange high school students from France, Brazil, Estonia and other countries. Placentia resident Mary Rarick, who helps place the students, is seeking volunteers to provide housing and meals for about 30 students. Host families do not receive monetary compensation but are eligible for $50 tax deductions for each month they host the students, she said.
