Doctors Union Bid Rejected

An attempt by hundreds of physicians to form the nation’s first union for doctors in private practice was rejected Monday for a second time by a federal labor regulator. The United Food & Commercial Workers Local 56, seeking to represent 650 New Jersey doctors in collective bargaining versus AmeriHealth Inc., may appeal.
