LOS ALAMITOS

City staff on Monday presented the City Council with a seven-year plan for improvements to roads, sidewalks and medians. The Orange County Transportation Authority requires cities to submit an approved seven-year capital improvement program to remain eligible for Measure M funds.

Projects in the plan include improvements to Los Alamitos Boulevard, Old Town East, Old Town West, Bloomfield Street and Katella Avenue. The city also plans on building traffic signals and medians, improving bus turnouts and repairing sidewalks in various parts of the city.
