WESTMINSTER
Four officers and five civilians are retiring from the Police Department by the end of July to take advantage of the city’s current retirement system, Police Personnel Director Robin Kapp said. The department is working now to hire replacements but is uncertain whether all the positions will be filled by then. The department’s latest employee contracts were renegotiated to provide a higher starting salary, but they end the early retirement system.
