The City Council this week commended the recipients of the Chamber of Commerce’s man, woman and business of the year awards. Gay Hannah was awarded 1999 Woman of the Year and Phillip J. Wendel was awarded 1999 Man of the Year, both for their significant contributions of time and service to the community. The chamber also selected Forest Lawn Memorial Park as Large Business of the Year and Above All Catering as the Small Business of the Year.
