Forum to Focus on Tech Jobs for Women

Women are still underrepresented in Internet companies, but Women at Work hopes to change that. The Pasadena-based nonprofit career and job resource center will host a forum Thursday about careers in the Internet and computer industries. Women from EarthLink Network, EToys, Knowledge Adventure and other firms will discuss the challenges and opportunities of working in the industry. The forum will begin at 7 p.m. at 50 N. Hill Ave., Suite 300, in Pasadena. The fee is $10. For more information, call Women at Work at (626) 796-6870.
