Leaf Blowers
Re “Blowing a Lot of Hot Air,” Oct. 29: Leaves on the ground do no harm to anyone; gas-powered leaf blowers are harmful due to their excessive noise and carbon monoxide emissions. I favor an outright ban--gardeners (and gardens) got along fine before these hellish machines ever existed.
