Actor George Hamilton, who appeared in the fall A&E; miniseries “P.T. Barnum,” has sold his home in a West Hollywood condo building for close to its $2 million asking price.

The buyer is Irwin Deutsch, president of Century Pacific Investment Corp. in Los Angeles.

Hamilton, 60, was a regular on the NBC sitcom “Jenny” (1997-98), starring Jenny McCarthy, and he co-hosted, with his ex-wife, Alana Stewart, the syndicated talk show “George and Alana” (1995-96). Hamilton also starred in the comedies “Love at First Bite” (1979) and “Zorro, the Gay Blade” (1981).

His home was originally two condos, which were joined to create one 3,200-square-foot unit with two bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, two entrances and 20-foot ceilings. The unit, on the 23rd floor, has city-to-ocean views, black and white marble floors, a humidor, and a bath with dual showers and a sunken black tub.
