Residents can recycle as many as four unwanted tires free of charge and enter to win a new $200,000 home, made primarily from recycled materials. The city is sponsoring the Used Tire Roundup, to be held from 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 13 at the City Hall parking lot, 11222 Acacia Parkway. The event is part of America Recycles Day, a national drive to increase the use of recycled-content products. Entry forms for the new home will be available at the tire roundup.
