JeTech Honored as Software Developer of Year

Share

JeTech Data Systems in Camarillo, a supplier of Internet products for labor resource planning, was named Software Developer of the Year by the Software Council of Southern California.

The area running from San Luis Obispo to San Diego is home to more software companies than anywhere else in the world, according to the council.

To qualify for the award, a company must be based in Southern California and have released a product in 1998 with high ratings in three areas--units sold, innovation and functionality / ease of use.

The award is one of several honors for JeTech in 1999.

“When you consider that Southern California represents some of the biggest software names in the world, winning Software Developer of the Year is extremely rewarding,” company CEO Michael Edell said.

Among JeTech’s customers are Southwest Airlines, Corning Inc., Boise Cascade, the Hertz Corp. and Toyota North America.
