Miami Dolphin quarterback Dan Marino, sidelined since Oct. 17 because of a pinched nerve in his neck, was ruled out for Sunday’s game at Buffalo.

Marino flew Tuesday to Los Angeles, where he was told by neurosurgeon Dr. Robert Watkins that he needs more rehabilitation.

The Dolphins have gone 3-0 with Damon Huard starting in place of Marino.

Muhammad was cleared in the death of his pregnant wife, 30-year-old Nichole Muhammad. An autopsy indicated injuries that induced the premature labor and internal bleeding that led to her death and the death of her unborn baby Sunday were caused by a traffic accident last Thursday, not by a fight with her husband a week earlier. Muhammad was arrested Oct. 28 on three misdemeanor charges.

Finally reporting to the Seattle Seahawks, receiver Joey Galloway says he decided to end his season-long holdout because he missed playing in the NFL.

Galloway will play under the terms of the final year of his five-year contract for $1.58 million, minus $210,000 in fines and $93,235 for each week missed. To become a free agent in March, he needed to be on the roster for the final six games of the regular season.
