Notre Dame 55, Crespi 7--Jon Brewster completed eight of 11 passes for 191 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another score, all in the first half, and the Knights (9-1, 3-0) clinched the league championship at Notre Dame.

Darin Barton rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown in five carries and Trevin Lund added 74 yards rushing and a touchdown in six carries for Notre Dame, which defeated Crespi for the sixth consecutive time.

Daniel Browne led the Knights with five receptions for 123 yards, including a 61-yard touchdown reception from Brewster in the first quarter.

Notre Dame scored touchdowns on its first six possessions and led at halftime, 48-0.

Brewster hit Alec Moss on a 49-yard touchdown pass play on the Knights’ first play from scrimmage. With the first half winding down, Moss stripped quarterback Jamie Dipoma of the ball and teammate Travis Johnson returned the fumble 65 yards for a touchdown.

Dipoma completed 12 of 27 passes for 140 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions for Crespi (1-9, 0-3).

Larry Viltz caught six passes for 66 yards, including a three-yard touchdown reception from Dipoma with 5:11 to play.
