Gish Biomedical Inc.

The Irvine designer and manufacturer of disposable medical devices posted a first quarter net loss of $1.6 million, or 47 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $270,000, or 8 cents a share, for the same period last year. Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 declined 8% to $4.4 million.
