Corwin Master Music Classes Offered

Southland music students ages 16 to 25 who plan professional orchestral careers may apply for the 19th annual tuition-free Corwin master music classes, sponsored by the Los Angeles Music Center Education Division.

Classes will be held Saturday, Feb. 26 with pianist Yefim Bronfman, and Sunday, March 12, with members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Music Center, 135 No. Grand Ave., Los Angeles. Parents, music teachers, students and the public are invited to attend. There is no charge.

Applications will be available Dec. 1 and due Jan. 31. For application forms and more information, contact Cheryl Hall at (213) 202-2293. The classes are sponsored by the Dorothy and Sherrill C. Corwin Foundation.
