‘Sing! Sing! Sing!’ Solicits Program Suggestions
“Sing! Sing! Sing!,” the sing-along for adults at the Jazz Bakery in Culver City, is seeking suggestions for an end-of-the-year program, “Twenty Songs of the Twentieth Century,” to be presented Dec. 30 at 8 p.m.
Criteria to consider: beauty of melody line, universal appeal of lyrics, political statement or importance, spiritual messages, historical significance and/or unforgettable artistic merit.
Howard Lewis, the group’s researcher and narrator, will provide commentary at the program.
Submissions should be received by by Nov. 30.
