Columbine Victim’s Parents Will Speak
The parents of Columbine High School massacre victim Cassie Bernall will speak at the 9:30 and 11 a.m. worship services Sunday at the Crystal Cathedral, 12141 Lewis St., Garden Grove. The Bernalls will discuss their book about Cassie, “She Said Yes.”
Cassie Bernall has been hailed as a martyr for reportedly professing a belief in God before she was killed by one of two teen gunmen at the Colorado school.
Since the tragedy, officials have raised questions about the story and some witnesses have said another victim made the declaration. But the Bernalls’ book has proved popular with Christian teens and their parents.
