Gun Control
* In the aftermath of the shootings in Hawaii and Seattle, the senseless shooting of a mother taking her child to school and the shooting of a restaurant owner, not to mention all of the school shootings, don’t you think it is time for some gun control legislation?
The news is full of these stories of unprovoked violence. Why is it so easy to carry a gun into a workplace and start mowing people down?
The people we elect to represent us can change the way handguns are purchased and can change the laws to make penalties stiffer for the use of a handgun against another person.
Day after day, we as citizens do nothing. It is time to write our representatives and let them know that gun control needs to happen.
