Share

NetZero, Westlake Village, said it has signed an agreement to acquire AimTV in a stock-for-stock transaction involving approximately 1 million shares of NetZero stock. The acquisition, subject to various closing conditions, is expected to close by the end of the year.

AimTV is a privately held company based in San Francisco that has developed technology to run broadcast-quality television commercials over narrow-band Internet connections.

NetZero provides consumers with free Internet and e-mail services in exchange for information that allows advertisers to target market groups.
