Councilwoman Marjie L. Rice was selected as the mayor pro tem at Tuesday night’s City Council meeting. Rice replaces Councilman Tony Lam, who had completed his one-year term. Lam will remain as a part of the five-member council, which includes Mayor Frank Fry Jr.
