Lighting Up the Holidays
Millions of Christmas lights sparkled at the opening of the fourth annual Griffith Park Light Festival on Friday. This section reproduces the Vincent Thomas Bridge. The annual nighttime event, which is free and runs for a month, celebrates Christmas and Los Angeles with light exhibits along a one-mile section of Crystal Springs Drive in Griffith Park. Those wishing to savor the lights and holiday music on foot can follow a path that begins near the parking lot at the zoo.
