London ‘Smart Card’ Covers 40-Plus Sites

Share

A “smart card” that gets visitors into more than 40 London attractions and tours plus public transit is being offered by a London company called Arrival Marketing Ltd. The pluses: avoiding juggling money and standing in ticket lines. The minuses: Many top sites aren’t included, and savings can vary.

Called the London Pass, it costs adults about $32 for one day, $75 for three days and $132 for six days. Rates for children (5 to 16) are $20, $40 and $68 respectively. It covers sites such as St. Paul’s Cathedral and the London Aquarium but not Buckingham Palace or the Tower of London. All bus, subway and train travel in London zones one through six is included. The London Pass can be bought at the Britain Visitor Center on Regent Street in London, or, starting Wednesday, via the Internet, https://www.londonpass.com.
