Residents with a passion for Christmas lights may consider entering the city’s Holiday Home Decorating Contest. Categories include Best Use of Lights, Best Animated Display and Best Total Display. Also, neighborhood block entries are being accepted. To be eligible for a block entry, 50% of the homes on the block must have exterior decorations. The deadline for submitting entries is Dec. 9 and judges will view homes Dec. 15. Entry forms are available at City Hall. Information: (714) 895-2860
